Office Manager, Pat Burcks
I have been working as secretary/office manager for Beautiful Savior since January of 1999. It has been a pleasure and a rewarding experience to work with Pastor Prange, Pastor Eckstein, and the current pastor, Pastor Bretscher.
I have lived in the St. Louis area all of my life and love the changing seasons of the Midwest. I am married and have 2 children. John, my husband, is also a native of St. Louis. Our daughter, Stephanie, is married with 2 children and just about to complete her Master's degree at Lindenwood University, in psychology and school counseling. Our son, JP, is a sophmore at Mizzou, majoring in strategic communications, journalism, and advertising.
When we are not doing something with our children or grandchildren, John and I enjoy working on my family home which we moved into a couple of years ago. I enjoy dabbling in art, and reading just about anything I can. My children bought me a Kindle for my birthday, so I can always have a library with me to choose a new book from. My newest hobby is photography. My husband enjoys anything that has to do with old cars, and is quite artistic in metal work. He has a passion for smithing.
When we retire we would like to live in the Southwest and have a small business. John can make things, I can paint them, take pictures of them, and with God's blessings we will sell enough to support us.
Working with the church family of Beautiful Savior has truly been an honor.
